Did you ever want to see a commercial lobster boat working?... Up close and personal? Just like "Deadliest Catch!" (only safer) Join the crew of the "Karen Lee" and experience the magic of a New England lobster trap breaking the surface, displaying the boundless treasures of the deep cold water of Long Island Sound. The Karen Lee is a 26-foot Downeast Lobster boat manufactured by Terry Jason of Steuben ME. The Vessel had a complete USCG supervised re-fit in 2007 including but not limited to a new Cummins diesel engine, transmission, shaft, wheel, plumbing, wiring, electronics, and safety gear. The only old equipment is Capt Tony. Capt. Tony D'Andrea is a licensed Coast Guard Master with over 30 years experience. Capt. Tony is also a commercial lobsterman and avid environmentalist.
